Biohof Rohrauer is an organic beekeeping farm in Burgenland, Austria. The idea behind the new corporate design is quite simple. In front of each beehive, there is a wooden landing board that marks the entrance. Bees navigate during their flight based on scents, the sun, or the Earth's magnetic field. They also respond to different color tones. The landing boards of each beehive are painted in different colors so that the bees can easily identify their home from a distance. It was a natural choice to incorporate the colors of the landing boards onto the honey jar labels. This way, you can see which beehive produced each particular honey. So, as mentioned before, it's a straightforward concept.
