Volkmar has worked for many years at BMW Germany and was responsible for their communication as an art director. Numerous campaigns have been created as a result. What may not be immediately noticeable to the viewer is the special design concept. The cars do not have license plates, which is typically not possible in their representation. A car on the road requires a license plate. The only place where a car does not have a license plate is immediately after production in the factory. So why not take the photographs there? Looks definately better without plates.
